Who doesn’t love a table full of food? Well, you can this summer at Revolucion De Cuba!
Me and Bob were exclusively invited to Revolucion de Cuba Newcastle to sample their new tapas menu. The best meals out are always where your tables are full food to get tucked in to. Am I right?
So the team in Newcastle took us to our table and ordered us a Nuclear Daquiri and an Aperol Spritz. To keep with the Venetian tradition!
Now to the main part!
The Tapas menu was overwhelming. It all sounded so good not to try! Revolucion De Cuba offers a deal Monday – Saturday where you can get 3 dishes for just £14. We decided to order 6 to share, to really get our teeth into. Pardon the pun!
3 Tapas dishes for £14!
So we chose; Slow Cooked Beef Tostada, Shredded Beef Chili Nachos, Roasted Pork Tacos, Chicken Rumba Skewers, Patatas Bravas, and Ensalada Poqito.
If this doesn’t make your mouth water, I don’t know what will!
So where do you start? We decided to get a range of dishes and meats to say we’d tried it all. First off, the Pork Tacos had just the right kick to it with the spices and guacamole. Whereas the beef Tostada was crispy and had plenty of filling inside. Even the beef nachos were oozing with melted choose. That’s what you call loaded nachos!
The Chicken skewers just melted in your mouth. Yum! My personal favourite from the bunch was the Patatas Bravas. These fried potatoes with the spicy tomato sauce and garlic were amazing.
