You can never have enough highlighters right? This limited-edition Becca palette creates that perfect winter glow!
So in the boxing day sales I treated myself to this beauty and as requested by you lovely lot, you wanted to see a review of Becca’s Après Ski Glow Face Palette!
This is my first ever purchase from the cruely-free makeup brand and let me tell you, I’m impressed. Of course I’m a sucker for highlighters and bronzers so when this went on sale for ￡31.50 I just couldn’t resist. I mean the packaging enough is lust worthy. The icy mirrored palette comes with a good-sized mirror and 6 shades ranging from three highlighters, two bronzers and a rose blush.

So what do I think?
The palette has 6 fairly sized shades and for £31.50, its worth it for the product you get. One full size Becca highlighter is about £30 so this is a great idea to try some shades before buying the full sizes.
In terms of coverage the swatches above are with two swirls of application and I’m quite pleased with the pigmentation. The powders feel very creamy, not powdery. There’s little to no fall out so once applied to your skin, the powder sets quite quickly. I tried the shade Opal with setting spray and oh my god, it look gorgeous. I also love the blush too, it reminds me a little of Benefits Galifornia, I love a rose pink.
In terms of the colours, I can see each one working well for me – icicle is very light so you only need a very slight dusting on this. The bronzers are super blendable too, I was worried they’d be a little dark but on your cheek blended – Bronzed Boni does a great contour. The blushed copper is more of a bronzer I’d use as a finish on the cheeks and on my chest.
I know this palette came out in winter, but I can already see this becoming a summer staple.
Overall I’m really glad I picked up the Après Ski Glow palette. I’m glad I didn’t pay full price but this was definitely an indulge. Has it tempted me to try more from Becca?
