Just when you think you’ve tried everything when it comes to skincare, you get introduced to Gatineau and you’re hooked…
I’ve tried a lot of brands and products over the years but one I haven’t come across before is Gatineau. This luxury french brand by Jean Gatineau combines natural ingredients to create salon quality products that are used worldwide in beauty therapy and treatments. What’s not to like? I love the packaging and the whole look of it alone shouts “high-class”.
So I was lucky enough to receive three ‘hero’ products from her ever-growing collection and for the last few weeks I’ve put them to the test and let me tell you.. I’ve noticed the benefits!
Radiance Enhancing Gommage
This is my favourite product out the bunch. I’ve loved it so much, it recently featured in my March favourites. If you have sensitive skin or prefer a gentle exfoliator you’ll love this. The Radiance exfoliator removes dead skin cells in such a unique way. The balm is of a gel consistency at first that feels luxurious on the skin. As you start to rub this in circular motions across your face, the gel slowly turns into a nourishing oil until it gently dissolved onto your skin. Left, you have an instant luminosity with the golden shimmer – perfect to apply first thing on a morning.
Body Lotion
you can’t beat a good body lotion for when your whole body needs some TLC! This lotion gives head to toe soften and the fragrance of this is beautiful with the passionfruit and Shea Butter ingredients. What I love about this is how quick it soaks into your skin so you’re not left with that sticky / greasy feel – no need to wait long to get dressed.
Gentle Silk Toner
When it comes to my skincare routine, I have a habit of leaving out a toner but I’ve really stepped up my makeup removing routine since using this. I’ve been using this after my cleanser to freshen up my skin and close pores. It even has extracts of silk and I’ve noticed how smoother my skin feels after applying this.
Overall I’ve loved being introduced to Gatineau and I’ll be gutted when these run out, especially the exfoliator. The prices are little on the high-end side but if you fancy treating yourself or want to see results – its worth it right? Have you heard of this brand or tried any of their products?
