New Additions To My Skincare Routine
Skin brightening products? Yes, please! Let’s chat about a new brand I’ve discovered: Fade Out. And how this trio has been a great addition to my daily and weekly routine.
So today’s post I’m going to be discussing a new brand that I’ve been trialing for a good three months now. As my readers know, anything skincare-related I take my time in reviewing. Just because I want to thoroughly try the products. How they make my skin feel. How quickly I see the results. And especially how they work with hormones and everything else.
Fade Out has nearly 40 years of experience in understanding skin tone and pigmentation with formulations to help brighten and tighten the complexion. I hadn’t heard of this brand before so I was keen to see if the advanced brightening edit would work and help my skin.
This set is also:
- Vegan
- Cruelty-free
- Paraben-free
- SPF protection
At only £19.99, the box includes an exfoliation facial wash, a night cream, and a day cream.
Advanced Brightening Day Cream
The first product to try was of course the day cream. This works as a nourishing daily moisturiser and it didn’t take long to see results! I started using this in the morning before applying makeup and it absorbs really quickly into the skin. Doesn’t feel oily either. My skin felt refreshed and I loved the subtle scent of this cream. It actually reminded me of sun cream. Which was quite nostalgic – it’s been a while since I’ve last worn sun cream.
With the added bonus of SPF 20 too I’m actually going to be taking this on holiday shortly with me for added protection. The cream is jam-packed with natural ingredients such as Mulberry extract and Liquorice which aim to combat uneven skin tone and prevent dark spots. All in all, it’s a lovely moisturiser that absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel soft and ready to take on the day. Perfect as a primer.
Fade Out Exfoliating Facial Wash
I love a good exfoliator so I was keen to try this. Mainly to see what the texture was like as every exfoliator is different. This facial wash aims to cleanse, clarify and brighten uneven skin tones. It’s also packed with lots of natural ingredients including Cucumber seed oil and glycerin to hydrate and cleanse.
Another lovely scent and I could smell the cucumber in this one. Every product smells really natural and fresh. If that make sense? I think this just emphasises its all-vegan which is nice. The texture is quite creamy which was unexpected but in a good way. It felt like a good combination of an exfoliator and a moisturiser too.
I’ve been using it alongside makeup remover in the evenings to remove all my makeup and excess oil. To make sure my skin is as clean as possible before applying the night cream. At £4.99 on its own, it’s a perfectly good and affordable exfoliator!
Fade Out Advanced Brightening Night Cream
I do love a good night cream when my skin needs a little TLC! This helps achieve a radiant and flawless complexion working overnight. It’s another fast-absorbing cream that’s more of a gel formula. It’s not greasy and feels lovely on the skin.
My face instantly feels hydrated and re-energized before bed. Ingredients include rosehip seed oil and sacha inchi oil which contains sources of Vitamin A and Omega 3. I’ve noticed my skin feels and looks a lot better the following morning. It feels smoother and pairs in well with the day cream before makeup application.
Fade Out Overview
All in all, it’s a great set. It’s affordable, it’s all-natural, and actually works. Fade Out is a great addition to my skincare routine and I’d happily re-purchase. I think this brand needs more attention now I’ve tried the products and I’m very happy to feature them on my blog. I love when I find a good discovery! My skin has never felt better recently and I’m looking forward to taking these on holiday with me shortly.
