On Saturday, I popped along to Psyche’s Ladies day event! The ladies floor was filled with hairdressers, makeup artists, cake and prosecco – the perfect pamper day if you ask me! Psyche replenished their second floor with designer fashion and beauty to raise money for Cancer Research – the UK’s leading charity for breast cancer.
On arrival, the lovely gals at Psyche offered me and my mum a glass or two of prosecco with raspberries and strawberries – it went down a treat. I immediately went over to the delightful cupcake stall ‘Heart of Cupcakes‘. It was covered in vintage floral packaging and each cupcake was individually decorated with sweets, chocolates and little flowers! We bought two and they even come in their own little cupcake box!
I love the fact that Psyche house two of my favourite designer brands; Michael Kors and Ted Baker. I love shopping and browsing anyway but it feels that little more special on this floor with their sleek and spacious layout. Everything just looks beautiful! Behind me where all the latest swimwear items from the Ted Baker range and I was so tempted to pick one up.
Bellissimi Beauty offered free makeovers! I’d already had my makeup done for the day but I was gutted I didn’t get it done! She’s an ex MAC makeup artist so she definitely knew what she was doing! I observed her doing someones makeup later on and it looks effortless and beautiful!
I’ve used Arbonne beauty before so it was great to see all their products on display. It’s one of many few companies specialising in Pure, Safe and Beneficial products. You can see from the packaging that the company provide the highest quality health and wellness products.What’s great is that each product is 100% vegan, they use botanical ingredients such as fruit, veg and plant extracts, even the handles on the brushes are vegan. It’s hard to find a company that is 100% vegan these days.
Another beauty stall I visited was beauty by Nikki! What a lovely woman, we were chatting for ages about all the latest beauty treatments such as cocowhite and ageless. She was offering these little miracles for only a couple of pounds! The photos above just show how ageless diminishes the look of wrinkles!
Aspire from Linthorpe road were also there on saturday with a nail technician and hairdressers! Charley from Aspire even put a couple of curls in my hair so it would last all day in york!
Psyche even hosted a huge designer raffle! Just look at these prizes above! Michael Kors bag, Goodie bag, Versace Perfume and more! Fingers crossed I pick something up, all the proceeds go to charity! I couldn’t stay too long as I was heading over to York for the day but I can tell the event was a great success!
