Valentines Makeup Look With Pixi Beauty

Not only am I an avid fan of Pixi’s skincare, their beauty products are amazing too!

I love everything about Pixi Beauty. I mean look at the packaging? Their product range has everything from moisturisers to exfoliations to highlighters and glitter liners.

I’ve been lucky enough to sample a great range so far and I wanted to showcase my recent Pixi items so why not do a makeup look with them?!

So with Valentines around the corner, I’ve decided to do a red lip and rose gold eye number for the occasion. I haven’t wore eyeshadow in forever so it felt nice to get glammed up, to stay inside! You can’t go wrong with a little pamper and making yourself feel good.

Read on to see my makeup look and what I used!

Pixi Eye Makeup

I love how photogenic their products are. As my readers know I’m all about glitter and shimmer! So their eyeshadows and highlighters don’t disappoint.

To finish my base, I used the Pixi Glow-y Powder in the shade Fetch. This shimmery peach powder works as a highlighter or blusher so I used this on my upper cheeks. I can see why some use this as a subtle bronzer too. It’s easily blendable.

For my eye look I used the Pixi Eye Reflection Shadow Palette in the shade Natural Beauty. I think the name is very fitting the shades are very neutral and subtle. So if you want a quick eye look this is a great palette to use. Especially if your not into vibrant colours. As I have hazel eyes I’ve always leaned towards browns and golds to make my eye colour pop. You’ll see I’ve opted for the golden tones, taupe shade and rose gold colours to create this look.

To finish off my eye look I absolutely love a bit of glitter. I mean a lot! The Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights in the shade Mirage is perfect. This rose gold liquid glitter easily applies on the lid for a quick and easy transformation. It finishes a look or looks great on its own. Literally glide it on and you’ve got a eyeshadow.

Of course, you can’t go wrong with an eyeliner. I also used the Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen in BlackNoir. This waterproof eyeliner enhances your eyes from daywear to a night-time look instantly. I used this on my lower lash line and glides on really easily. I find some liners struggle along the waterline but this works fine. Great if you want your look to last you all night.

Pixi Iconic Red Lip

If you’re gonna do a Valentines look you have to use a red lip right?

I’m not gonna lie I haven’t wore lipstick for quite a while. I just don’t see the need when we’re wearing masks? So I haven’t wore a liquid lipstick in forever. But I have to say I’ve fell back in love with this type of lipstick thanks to Pixi’s MatteLast Liquid Lip in the shade Berry Beauty.

This rose petal lipstick is a beautiful shade. It applies really easily and becomes a very deep true red once dried on the lips. You’ll see in my makeup look below it’s actually quite a dark red the longer it’s left compared to the swatch above. The matte finish isn’t drying and didn’t crack either.. bonus! I’m tempted to get a couple more shades.

So here you are guys! This is my complete Pixi Beauty Look inspired for Valentines. To set my makeup I used the Pixi Glow Mist which sets everything in place and adds a dewy luminous finish. You can use this mist before applying makeup to hydrate and nourish too.
