Two Days in Disneyland Paris

I am back from Disneyland after spending only two days there. Its one of them places where images just don’t do it justice. I fell in love with the place, it’s so vibrant and picturesque and no matter what age you really can admire the beauty of the surroundings.

I felt like such a tourist the amount of pictures I took so rather than filling the post with masses of them Ii decided to make a slideshow with some of the best ones I took below.

These two jam-packed days really did fly by so I decided I’d focus this travel/lifestyle post on my recommendations if you ever go to Disneyland (or again). I really do want to go again!

Walt Disney Studio Park

This is a lot smaller than the Disneyland park in my opinion. We went here for our first day because we knew it wouldn’t take as long as the Disneyland Park. We entered studio 1 with masses of restaurants and food places. As we left your greeted with large Hollywood signs, the huge Tower of Terror and a statue of Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse. It felt so surreal.

Ride Recommendations

The Park is split into 4 sections: Production Courtyard, Backlot, Toon Studio and Front Lot.

  • Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster – this was an amazing rollercoaster with 360 turns! It went so fast and the waiting time was only about 40minutes so it was 100% worth the wait. We went on it twice.
  • Tower Of Terror – This was definitely worth the wait too, this is one ride i wanted to go on that i heard so much about and it didn’t disappoint. It went so fast and you don’t realize how high up you are till you see the park around you.
  • Crush’s Coaster – I heard about this from a blogger actually so i knew i had to give it a try. The queue for it however wasn’t so fun. We waiting about an hour and half that felt hours, and i’m not sure it was truly worth the wait. I would go on it again just if i didn’t have to wait so long. The actual rollercoaster was good it did feel like you were in a current.

Disneyland Park

Heading towards the park you passed the Disneyland Hotel and it was just beautiful. It was like a huge mansion with foundations and a large mickey mouse made entirely out of flowers. Once you passed through the hotel you could see the castle straightaway while you walked down the middle, cute town square shops either side filled with gift shops, restaurants or ice cream, cake parlors. It did have an American feel to it.

The park was also sectioned into 4 parts: Adventureland, Frontierland, Discoveryland and the most popular FantasyLand.

Ride Recommendations

  • Indiana Jones and the temple of Peril – This was another roller coaster we went on, this time it was outside and also had 360 turns too. We waiting about 50/60 minutes for this and it was worth the wait!! I prefer rollercoasters that are outside than inside.
  • Pirates of the Caribbean – This i was the most shocked out of the rides, i didn’t know what to expect and it was a lot better than i thought. Your on it quite a while as your on a little boat travelling along with a pirate story. Theres two surprises in it that we didn’t expect. Was one of the best rides i thought.
  • TeaCups – These are for young people but you just have to go on them while your there, its one of them rides you just have to go on.
  • Le Carousel – This is another ride you have to go on, we felt like two big kids on this but we had to see we’d been on it.
  • Alice’s Curious Labyrinth – This was a fun maze, was really pretty walking round and getting lost and once you completed it you visited the Queen of Hearts castle where you could take photos high above and see Fantasyland all around you.
  • Autopia – This was a really funny ride, you could ride a futuristic car and even young children can drive too. It’s a lot harder than you think.

3 things you have to see while you’re at Disneyland Paris

Disney Dreams – A beautiful nighttime spectacular of fireworks, fire, lasers and much more as you watch the Disney tales at the castle.

Disney Magic on Parade – This happens twice a day i think and luckily we spotted just by luck. Everyone gathers near the castle as you watch all the characters go by. Was amazing to see Frozen and other Disney films such as Tangled and Mary Poppins.

Stars in Cars – this was the parade for the Studios and it featured some characters on old fashioned cars with a band playing behind them. We caught this by chance too so we were pretty lucky seeing all 3 parades in one day.

This is an overview of my trip to Disneyland Paris, I recommend anyone to go if you haven’t already it’s an experience you’ll never forget. Heres some more pictures below of our trip.
