Soothe and moisturise your skin this Winter with Dermalogica’s newest release!
It’s been far too long since I’ve blogged on here as you may have noticed. Life is very crazy and uncertain at the moment so my blog has been on the back seat. But after a little media detox, I’m back with a new skincare review – and it’s worth the mention! Here goes…
First impressions of the Hydro Masque
So the Hydro Masque Exfoliant contains lots of natural ingredients such as Bamboo, Cucumber extract, Jojoba seed, Sunflower and Safflower seed and many more. These ingredients are what makes the mask so hydrating and cooling!
When it comes to my skincare I like the products to be low maintenance. By that I mean I prefer items that sink in or peal so I don’t need to wash off (as lazy as that sounds). So the first thing I noticed about this mask is how quickly it soaks in. The more you rub in the spheres – you can see it slowly disappearing into your skin. Which instantly feels refreshing!
The mask only needs about 5 minutes to take effect which again is so useful when you want a quick pamper! It also makes it easier to apply more than once a week. Personally, I’ve been using it once or week, or twice if I need to.
Overall opinion
The gentle exfoliating action of the spheres leaves my skin bright and radiant. My skin feels plump and fresh ready to apply my makeup. I sometimes apply this on a morning or on a night!
The Hydro Masque Exfoliate certainly does what it says and as we approach winter I can see it being my go-to for a quick fix. It will certainly help keep my dry skin at bay by moisturising and keep my skin glowing! It retails for £55 but for 50ml this will certainly last you a while.
