I was so happy to see these arrive on my doorstep. A brand I’ve wanted to try for ages and now I’ll be receiving their newest releases so you’ll have to keep a look out.
I dunno about you but this hot then cold weather is playing havoc with my skin. One minute its dry the next its dull and oily. So these ‘Skin Rescue Essentials‘ couldn’t have come at a better time. They arrived just before I went on holiday to Budapest so since I’ve been back I’ve been trying them out ready to tell you all my first impressions and of course introduce this beautiful range for the summer.
Glow-O2 Oxygen Mask – So this oxygen treatment mask claims to revive tired and dull skin instantly before a big event or makeup application. I actually love the formula of this. It applies as a gel but slowly as you rub this in it turns into a foamy mask. The gel bubbles and tingles slightly until its completely soaked in. I noticed that it did leave a glow to my skin quite quickly. It says to use am or pm but I’d recommend using more on a morning as a cleanser.
Jasmine Radiance Recovery Oil – This was the first product I tried out of the bunch. At the time my skin had a lot of redness and a few spots and with this claiming to calm and restore stressed and unbalanced skin – I thought I’d give it a go. So it pretty much does what it says on the skin – radiance recovery. Obviously this smelt amazing with the Jasmine oil and had that calming effect instantly with the scent. I’d recommend putting this on last as part of your routine and then leaving on over night. I woke up the next day and my skin definitely looked more hydrated.
Overnight Glow Serum – Very similar to the Jasmine oil this gel acts as an exfoliator to soothe skin for a brighter complexion. It also helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines whilst your sleeping. Its also enriched with cucumber and aloe vera so it looks your skin feeling super soft. I can see this being a product to take on holiday after a day in the sun and allow your skin to repair overnight.
Glow Nourishing Mist -This multi-purpose glow mist is a must have this summer! Not only does it set your makeup, it also hydrates and adds a luminous glow. Oh and you can use it on your hair for an instant healthy look too! Another gorgeous product that smells amazing with the 13 natural oils and fruit extracts.
What a collection! I’ve only ever used the Pixi Glow Tonic (and I love it) so it was great to try more items from their Skin Treats range.
